How to get a job at the ‘Boeing Co.’ with a new job posting
NEW YORK — In a move that will likely make many job seekers feel a little queasy, Boeing Co. will be hiring new employees on Tuesday as part of an initiative designed to get more Americans into the aerospace industry.
Boeling, the second-largest U.S. aerospace company, announced the hiring Tuesday, and a few hundred of its new workers will be hired in a series of new positions.
Those positions include pilots, mechanics, machinists, mechanics and sales associates.
The job posting, posted on Boeing’s website, said the positions are being filled in a variety of roles including aerospace production managers, aircraft sales managers, operations engineers and technical and sales managers.
Bureaucrats will be helping to lead the hiring effort, and Boeing is hiring at least 10,000 new workers this year.
Borrowing from the work of other companies, Boeing has been hiring people in the aerospace sector since 2014.
It is one of several large corporations that are seeking to hire more people into the work force.
Bailout-busting companies like Google, Facebook, Uber and others have been pouring money into the industry in recent years.
